Ceramics

Garry Bish established his studio "Potters Arms" in 1972 at the original home of George Duncan Guthrie the founder of Bendigo Pottery in Ascot, Victoria.

For over fifty years his work has constantly evolved to express his personal vision in a diverse and unique range of functional and sculptural objects. Recent works explore pictorial depth on the clay wall and challenge the concept of physical and illusory space.

He has lectured part time in ceramics for over thirty-five years at La Trobe University, Bendigo, and RMIT University Hong Kong and Melbourne city campus. Garry exhibits regularly in solo and group exhibitions within Sustralia and overseas. He is represented in many state and regional collections within Australia.
