Fiona O'Neill's arts practice includes a broad range of subject matter: painting en plein air; emotive life reflections in oils, landscape, life drawings and portraits including animals. More recently accompanying portraiture,
Fiona is developing ceramic busts in conjunction with the portraits and as stand alone pieces. Fiona studied Fine Arts at La Trobe in Bendigo has a Diploma of Visual Art, Cairns and a Diploma of Interior Design and Decoration, Melbourne.
Fiona has participated in open studios in Castlemaine, Bendigo and held solo and joint exhibitions. In Bendigo painting exhibits have included “Art in the Streets, Penny weight lane, the Capital Theatre and Exhibit B. Fiona has organised the “Eaglebald “portrait prize and open art entries for the last three years for the Dahlia and Arts Festival, Eaglehawk.
