2026 Artist Application Form

Bendigo Open Studios 2026; Friday 9 to Sunday 11 October 2026.

Applications close Wednesday 24 June 2026.

Applications are open for renewing Bendigo artists.

  • Open your studio and be part of one of the most successful community arts events in the region.

  • Gain exposure to new studio visitors from the local area and further.

  • Use the opportunity to sell work from your studio directly to the visiting public.

  • Have your studio and art included in the Bendigo Open Studios promotional material

HOW TO APPLY

  1. 1. Fill in the 2026 Artist Application Form. This information will be used for your artist profile for the website, social promotional printed materials (Please tab in-between fields).

  2. Artists must have their own Public Liability Insurance. You will be required to provide details of your insurance with your application. Regional Arts Victoria offer a combined membership and annual Public Liability insurance.

  3. You must have a valid Working with Children Check. We’ll view it during the studio visit.

  4. Once your application and payment have been received, your spot in the 2026 Bendigo Open Studio is secure. Please ensure you apply and pay by June 10, as we are limiting the number of artists to 50 and cannot guarantee your spot after this date.

  5. You are required to provide photos with your application. Please submit between 6 and 12 images. They must be high quality, provide a clear representation of your work and working studio space. If you use different mediums and techniques, please provide a representation of each style. Let us know if you need additional advice. All image files should be labelled in the following manner: surname_title_medium.jpg example: Smith_TreeOnHill_OilPaint.jpg

  6. Fees are payable at time of application: $125 for renewing artists. Your fee covers website updates, promotional activities, design and printing of the art trail booklet and flags to display at your studio.

  7. Personal attendance at your studio during the Open Studios weekend is required.

  8. Save the date for the launch night event, Thursday 8 October 2026.
