2025 Artist Application Form

Apply to be part of the 2025 Bendigo Open Studios, which will run on Friday 10th (optional), Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th of October 2025. 

To be eligible you simply need to be an artist working in Bendigo or within 15km of Bendigo City.  Applications open on Friday the 27th of July and close Monday the 14th of July 2025.

 

HOW TO APPLY

  1. Fill in the adjacent Artist Application Form. This information will be used to renew or create your artist profile, social promotional material and all the printed media information.

  2. Artists will need to have their own Public Liability Insurance. Worth checking out - some House insurers will begrudgingly give you a certificate of currency (A Certificate of Currency proves to a third party that you have an appropriate level of insurance cover for the work you're about to undertake) to cover you for a one off event at your house. It’s worth calling and pushing the matter to see if you can get one.

    Best price annual Artists Public Liability insurance – Regional Arts Victoria who will give you a combined membership and annual Public Liability insurance for $260.

  3. Once your information has been collected, the Bendigo Open Studio Committee will be in contact via email, if you are a newly applying artist, we will organise a studio visit.

  4. The fee to participate is $120 for renewing artists and $135 for new artists. This fee is payable upon application, bank details are in the Application Form. This fee covers website updates, promotional activities, design and printing of the art trail booklet and flags to display at each studio.

  5. In the past we have held a lead-up exhibition and a launch night to generate excitement in the community and amongst the artists. We will keep you posted via email about this year’s events once the applications have been processed.
