Local artist Kim Lowe launches ‘Bit Sketchi’ in Bendigo!

Kim Lowe is a Bendigo-based artist with a passion for using art to bring people together, reduce isolation, and foster meaningful connections.

As a keen urban sketcher, Kim dreamed of building a local community of fellow sketchers—people who shared her love for capturing the everyday beauty of Bendigo.

With the support of the Bendigo City Centre Community Activation Grants Program, her project ‘Bit Sketchi Bendigo’ was born: a series of five free outdoor sketching events held across Bendig ocity, culminating in a group exhibition showcasing participants’work in April/May 2026.

To keep the momentum going, Kim has also launched a dedicated Facebook group for Bendigo sketchers—a space to share events, swap tips, and stay connected through creativity.
