Simone is an emerging artist who is predominantly self-taught, drawing confidence and inspiration from the supportive friendships and encouragement she has found through her local art classes in Bendigo.

Having only begun painting seriously in early 2025, she has rediscovered a creative passion that had lain dormant since her high school years in the 1980s. What started as a return to a long-forgotten interest has quickly evolved into a rewarding artistic journey.

While continuing to explore a variety of styles and subject matter, Simone's work is currently centred on landscapes and waterscapes, capturing light, atmosphere, and the beauty of the natural world through acrylics on canvas.
