Sculpture

With nearly 38 years as a professional sculptor and artist, my passion for the natural world—its fauna and flora—continues to be the driving force behind my work. This deep connection is evident in both my large-scale public sculptures and the more intimate private commissions I undertake each year. Primarily working in metal—steel, copper, and cast bronze—my sculptural practice explores form, texture, and scale. Each piece is a study in balance and presence, often capturing the essence and movement of the animal kingdom in a timeless, tactile way.

In recent years, my creative journey has expanded into painting, with acrylics becoming an important part of my expression. This shift has allowed me to explore colour in new and dynamic ways, particularly through large-scale animal portraits. The response to this new body of work has been deeply rewarding, with numerous private commissions completed this year alone.

My working studio gallery is open to the public five days a week, Wednesday through to Sunday. Visitors are welcome to explore a diverse collection of both sculpture and painting, offering insight into my ongoing exploration of nature’s beauty through multiple mediums.
