Laura Hardie is an Eaglehawk artist with 17 years of experience exhibiting work. With a Bachelor of Fine Art and a Diploma of Visual Art from RMIT, Laura's art explores form, light, and captivating imagery, with a strong focus on texture and pattern.
Her paintings feature still-lifes and landscapes, but she also uniquely combines her background in printmaking with gold & silversmithing.
Since 2024, Laura has taught art in Eaglehawk, recently opening a studio and gallery 'Brassey' within the historic ‘Borough Galleries’ building, overlooking the original civic precinct of Brassey Square.
Through her work and classes, Laura aims to teach students the fundamentals of creating art, exploring the purpose and use of differing artistic mediums.
