31. Milton Long

Contemporary Jeweller

Milton Long is a contemporary studio jeweller who lives in Bendigo and who has been designing and making art jewellery for the last thirty years.

He has exhibited widely in Australia with a range of other jewellers and artists and as a solo exhibitor. He creates unique and limited-edition pieces in sterling silver, gold, titanium, precious and semi-precious stones.

His work includes the use of vitreous enamels on silver and copper. Milton’s work reflects a particular interest in the Art Deco period, industrial design and architecture. Individual pieces exemplify his belief in the importance of simplicity of design, wearability, durability and a highly professional finish.
