An unexpected 20 year hiatus, raising a family and other obligations I returned to art 2 years ago via life drawing sessions with my amazing friend Sarah Hansford.

I teach my kids to do new things even if it scares them; and realised i needed to do the same. So here I am, a self-taught artist, a lifelong fascination with form; and the expressive power of shape, angle and curve. I explore them as they appear in the human figure- and as they are mirrored in the constructs we create. I try to capture emotion, and the quiet tension between the abstraction and familiarity found in these forms.

This new chapter is both a rediscovery and a continuation of a journey missed.
